About the Project

When we started Co-Funding, we didn’t just want to make it easier to fund property investments, we wanted to create a whole new paradigm in the industry that would give power back to the developers and their own network of private investors.

Co-Funding was started in 2019

After comprehensive market research, we discovered there was no affordable market software that provided automated property investment capability for private investment networks. The alternative that included crowdfunding had excessive fee structure and required costly regulatory certification — so we decided to build a platform ourselves, and Co-Funding was born.

Co-Funding launched in 2020

In 2020 we released our first version and onboarded our first client subscriber. Co-Funding gives control of private investment networks back to developers by creating a transparent, secure and user friendly environment for investing in real estate.

Next Generation Co-Funding Platform release in 2022

Moving forward, our goal is to transition the platform to a SaaS model that would make the platform significantly more scalable and automate the developer subscription setup. Currently we are limited to the number of developer subscribers, however SaaS will allow us to scale allowing an unrestricted number of property developers from all over the UK to easily self-manage their projects without the need for expensive visits to the solicitors, regulatory headaches or inflexible processes.

Meet the founder

Shaun BennieFounder

Shaun has been involved in property for over 10 years, managing HMOs and single lets. In 2015 he started property developing, focusing on investment financing and development project management. He is a Property Investor Network Master Mind graduate (PIN MM26) having completed the years training during 2018/19. Shaun’s passions include technology, automation and property, combining the two and making them work in harmony is not always easy but his goal is to create products that people recognize and enjoy while driving business sustainability.
